The powerful women supporters of Tollywood

Our Tollywood is a hub of talent. Many actors, actress,, directors, producers, are proving themselves to the industry every second. Women, are not only supporters of family but also for movies. Without lead actors, we can make a film, but without supporting actors, we can't make it. Here, some of our women supporters in the the industry.

Ramya Krishnan (Bahubali):

The versatile actress ever known. Her screen presence is so powerful, and her aura to audience is something different when compared to other actors. She can take up any role, and give her best out of that. In Bahubali, it seemed, there is no one in the industry to match her role. Hope, her accomplishments continue.

Vijayashanti (Sarileru Neekevaru):

She was one of the actress who acted in many women oriented films. Her films were remarkable and contributed to the society. Not only actor, she was a producer, politician. She had been a lead politician in TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samithi) party. After being far from movies for many years, she gave a grand re-entry in Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevaru. Her screen presence, is very powerful till date and it cannot be matched with today's heroines. Th e picturization of her character went very well, applause to Anil Ravipudi gaaru. Hope many roles come to her and audience enjoy her role.

Mamatha Mohandas (Yamadonga):

Though she acted in few films, Yamadonga is something special. She carries out 'Yama Dharma Raja' role at ease. She also gave her voice for a song in the film. Her nellore slang was a eye candy to the telugu audience. Her comedy timing was perfect. Definitely, this character will be noteworthy in her acting career.

Anushka Shetty (Vedam):

There will be no words to describe her elegance. It is not an easy task for a lead actress to accept a prostitute role. But challenge is another name for 'Anushka Shetty'. She has been challenging herself all the time in the industry. Not only challenged, she proved that she was born to act in these roles. She was awarded with Filmfare best actress award (2011) for Vedam. Wishing her all the best for 'Ms.Shetty and Mr.Polishetty'.

Asha Sharath (BHAAGAMATHIE):

An actor cum classical dancer. She is very well known for Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathakali, Mohiniyattam. She started her acting career in serials and played the role in Drisyam (Malayalam, Tamil). Coming to Bhaagamathie, her acting is as equal as Anushka. She carried the role of a negative intentioned detective with ease. Kuddos !!!

Tamanna (Sye Raa):

Its like a tiger waiting for its prey from long time. Tamanna, is one of outstanding performer in cinema. Her dance style fantasized many actors. Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy, a historical plot, gave good space for tamanna to showcase herself. Many legends of movie  industry praised her for her screen presence. The milky beauty has slowed down her path for movies and recently gave her debut into OTT platform, 'November Story'. Congrats and all the best!

Regina Cassandra (Evaru):

The most happening actress. Although, she was seen in few films, she caught the camera and audience by her magnetic expressions. A psychology graduate, had many breaks in her movie journey. But, never made an attempt to quit the industry. To be noted, her physique is her greatest strength. She was seen as bubbly girl in 'Kotha Janta'. We can say 'Evaru', the negative sided role, she nailed it. It is proved a good actor has no limits.

Nivetha Puthuraj (chitralahari):

A Dubai return,  Miss India UAE pageant(2015). Her debut was in a Tamil film. Her acting have mixed reviews. In tollywood, she gained many fans in a little span of time. Though, they were small roles, she accepted. She said in one of her interviews, small roles will lead her to main roles. As said, the chance of 'Ala Vaikuntapuram' lead her to 'Red'. In Chitralahari, she played a role of Misandrist, which indirectly connected many women. Hope many good roles will hit her in this journey

Anasuya Bharadwaj (Rangasthalam):

Jabardast, the name is familiar to the people of two states. The people who know about jabardast, will definitely know about  Anasuya. A TV host, expanding her career from small screen to Big screen. Though she faced many controversies in social media platforms, she never cared about them and concentrated on movie career. Her debut was made in 'Soggade Chinni Nayaana', 'kshanam', 'Rangasthalam', and recent OTT blockbuster 'Thank you Brother'. She said in one of her interview, 'Generally, people say, they don't have career after getting married and having children, but my career started after having them'. Hope her journey continues....

Bhumika Chawla (MCA):

The ever green cutest heroine of Tollywood. Acted in 50 films across India. Her acting will have great impact on female audience. Every girl wanted to be like bhumika in her real life. But, times changed, she continued to act as sister, sister-in-law, and many more roles. Particularly, in MCA, her innocence, dignity, maturity made the movie a big hit. Its sometimes hurt, seeing a lead actress taking these roles. But, we can't predict anything. All the best to the second innings of Bhumika gaaru

Nadiya (Mirchi, Attarintiki Daredi, Drushyam):

A powerful actress, known for her matured acting. She is an actor, host, brand ambassador. Her return to tollywood, was a big surprise to industry. She nailed in all of the roles she was in. On screen, than lead actress, she looked very beautiful. Her beauty can be compared with today heroines. Her acting cannot be described in words.

Hope, women in Industry get many opportunities and cherish their acting career.
